It all started when I related the horse to the "bailaora" or "bailaor" of flamenco.

The presence, the strength, the body, the movement, the gallop with the tap of the foot... That was when I began this search process from which I have not been able to ignore, since it takes more and more depth.

Through a simple and honest technique, such as drawing with dry pastel and charcoal, I seek to challenge the viewer's emotionality, and hopefully connect with their most primitive and intuitive being, playing with their animality and temperament.

I want whoever looks at my work to feel attracted, represented and identified in this animal.

The horse is amazing, it is so complete and deep. I like everything, starting with his body, his muscles, his physical build, which leads you to encounter his strength and vigor. And on a more "symbolic" level, the horse can challenge our own temperament in a very subtle way. It is noble, thoughtful... but at the same time adrenaline and attentive. He gets angry and is passive... Which allows me to play with the contrasts of our own emotions.
